OUR MISSION

The Bash for Brains is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the fight against Alzheimer's disease and supporting local families in need of respite care. Our mission is to raise funds and awareness to contribute to the Alzheimer's Association's efforts to find a cure for Alzheimer's while providing essential respite care for families affected by this challenging journey. Through community engagement and collaboration, we strive to create a world where individuals and families facing Alzheimer's receive the support they need to navigate this journey with dignity and compassion.

WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO?

  1. The Alzheimer’s Association | to aid in funding research towards finding a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease.

  2. The Bash for Brains Fund | in 2018, the Bash for Brains Fund was introduced with the help and guidance of the Woodbury Community Foundation.  The mission of the fund is to provide much-needed relief from the never-ending daily tasks of caring for a loved one with dementia.  Recipients will benefit from the fund through financial assistance toward professional caregiving.

Here’s how they work:

  2. Here you’ll be guided through creating your own fundraising page

  3. On the page, make sure to share your story + connection to Alzheimer’s

  4. Create your goal (to raise $10,000!)

  5. Share the page with your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, social media channels, etc!

  6. If you hit the $10,000 goal, aside from making a massive difference for the cause, you will receive: 12 general admission tickets to the Bash for Brains, 2 Bash for Brains UNRL brand sweatshirts and in-program recognition at the event.
